There are two separate services you'll need for a functioning website - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. When you type the domain in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded in the website hosting account, but if that domain name is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the Internet domain is registered and you are its owner, but it lacks content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it may be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and make certain that nobody else will take it. At the same time, it's not going to occupy a slot for a hosted domain name inside your account. You may also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main website in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to park as many domain addresses as you like with any of the cloud hosting plans that we offer. Needless to say, this feature is available exclusively for domains registered here since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike the majority of service providers, we don't charge anything additional for parking a domain address and the process takes only a couple of clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We also have a couple of parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account will take just a click. Everything necessary for the site to start showing up, including creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records will be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain addresses you have registered through our company and you can set a filter to see only the parked or only the hosted ones.
